By entering into these Terms and Conditions, I agree to participate in Habitat for Humanity Australia’s Global Village program to help raise awareness and funds to support people in need. By completing the registration, I agree that I have assumed responsibility to raise the minimum donation required to participate in this build as listed by Habitat for Humanity Australia. I will provide all funds collected, whether cash, cheques or credit card, on or before the donation deadlines. I understand that the initial registration fee and all donations processed by Habitat are non-refundable even if I do not participate in the event or if the event is cancelled by HFHA or HFHI. I agree to abide by all the below listed policies set forth by Habitat for Humanity Australia. I will provide all the required documentation as listed below before the due date 2 months before the build commencement date.

Volunteer Code of Conduct
When you accept a volunteer role with Habitat for Humanity, you are committing to act in a way that promotes Habitat’s mission, respects the local community, and ensures the safety of all participants. Please read the volunteer code of conduct here.
Child Protection Code of Conduct
Please read the policy here. Global Village team members are required to review this document and agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct via the online Global Village Registration Form.
Cancellation Policy
Please read the Global Village Cancellation Policy here. The purpose of this policy is to establish the donation required to be paid by an individual to Habitat and Habitat to a hosting program in the event that Habitat cancels a Global Village team, a Hosting Program cancels a team or an individual team member or team being unable to attend a build.
Gift Giving Policy
Please read the Global Village Gift Giving Policy here. The purpose of this policy is to define the approach of Habitat for Humanity Australia (HFHA) to the giving of gifts by Global Village (GV) volunteers to members of project communities in the field.
Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment Policy

It sets out the principles upon which we will base our decision making and actions, our expectations of all who represent HFHA, how HFHA will assess risk and ensure proper conduct at all times, our commitments to ensure effective action is taken if problems occur.
