Join us for NAIDOC Week 2024
Have you made plans for your team for National NAIDOC Week 2024? In recognition and support of NAIDOC Week, where the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are celebrated, Habitat for Humanity Australia wish to show support of local Indigenous communities and invite you to join us.
The 2024 National NAIDOC Week theme is “Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud!” This theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced.
The Brush with Kindness program mobilises teams of corporate volunteers to conduct renovations, painting, landscaping, gardening, and minor building repairs to the homes of people who may be disadvantaged, escaping domestic violence, or experiencing homelessness. The one-day group activity is an opportunity for your employees, colleagues, or partners to come together and spend time out of the office – no building skills are required! They will enjoy an opportunity to make a life-changing impact in the community for people who are less fortunate and have some fun getting their hands dirty.
