Join us for International Women's Day 2025
Have you made plans for your team for International’s Women’s day 2025? IWD 2025 campaign theme is ‘March Forward’. It’s time to to turn promises into progress. ‘March Forward’ as the official theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025, commemorating 30 years since the United Nation’s Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action for achieving gender equality. Step forward in solidarity for International Women’s Day 2025 and help us achieve women’s equality. At the current rate of progress, it will take 134 years to reach full gender parity in 2158, which is roughly five generations from now, according to data from the World Economic Forum.
So, together, let’s Accelerate Action to speed up the rate of progress. Habitat for Humanity Australia wish to show support to our vulnerable local communities of women by accessing safe housing and invite you to join us.
The Brush with Kindness program mobilises teams of corporate volunteers across Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adeliade and Brisbane to conduct renovations, painting, landscaping, gardening, and minor building repairs to the homes of people who may be disadvantaged, escaping domestic violence, or experiencing homelessness. The one-day group activity is an opportunity for your employees, colleagues, or partners to come together and spend time out of the office – no building skills are required! They will enjoy an opportunity to make a life-changing impact in the community for people who are less fortunate and have some fun getting their hands dirty.
